MECHANICAL LEATHER CUPS AND PACKINGS

Directions for Ordering:

In ordering leather packings of special size or shape always give four dimensions:

A - Outside Diameter B - Hole Size C - Height D - Thickness of leather

State the kind of packing wanted, and if possible, whether it is to be used for air, oil, or water, and the pressure to which it will be subjected. A full description will enable us to fill your needs more satisfactorily and quickly. An extra charge will be made for orders for special sizes to cover cost of mold.

Cup #0: Pliable, waterproof leathers formed with hair side out. These cups are recommended for industrial, shallow well, and water system applications.

Cup #1: Economy, untreated leathers of excellent quality, high-grade oak tanned stock. No wax.

Cup #2: This cup is the same quality leather as our #5, but it has been heat treated by an exclusive process. High polished black finish.

Cup #3: This special selection is perfect in all water wells, deep or shallow.

Cup #4: Oil filled, formed with hair side out of our high-grade, premium select oak tanned leather and oil treated.

Cup #5: These cups are made from the highest grade, oak tanned leather obtainable. Uniform in thickness and quality, graphite treated. Hair side out and polished to a high finish.

Cup #7: These cups are made from full chrome leather, hair side out. This particular cup is specially treated for hydraulic or air service.

Cup #8: These cups are made from retan leather, which is a special double tanned leather. This cup provides excellent performance in hydraulic or air service.
